During this pandemic, it’s been harder and harder to stay positive and be happy. So we put together a few hints on easy ways we can create a happy situation. 

A simple thing like smiling, take the time to smile at someone and you might get a smile back.  What a way to start your day!

Make some good food choices to keep your energy up. What you put into your body can give you energy or slow you down. One of my favorite dishes is Greek yogurt with granola and topped with mini chocolate chips. I add collagen powder for extra protein and to help my skin.

Get a good night’s rest. See sleepfoundation.org for some ideas on creating a routine and the number of hours you should get. Refueling your body is crucial to staying healthy and keeping your emotions high!

Exercise always helps the body to feel better. The better your body feels the happier your whole outlook on life will be. See our Wellness Wednesdays for more exercise ideas. 

Start a gratitude journal. Sometimes taking time out of your day to jot down what you’re grateful for can give you a different perspective on the day. You might smile and realize the day was better than you think.
