Amazon Prime Day!
The best day to shop Amazon! Amazon is one of Chic for Cheap’s favorite stores to shop. Between Mom and Kaylin we probably have shipments coming in a few times a week (maybe more???). We purchase everything from clothing (women and men), travel essentials, home products, beauty products, fitness items, and all our technology stuff! If you can’t wait for “Prime Day” or you’re not a prime member Amazon has great everyday pricing. But if you have Amazon Prime we will take you through some of our best buys for both “Prime Day” and every day!
Amazon Products: You’re best deals are on Amazon products
Amazon Fire Tablet: This is a fabulous alternative to the more expensive iPad. You can stream, download apps, 12-hour battery, almost everything you can do on a computer but in a smaller lighter version. This has been great for travel entertainment and it won’t break the bank! We have the older 10 inch version.
Amazon Fire Stick: For those of us who don’t have smart TVs, pick up an Amazon Fire Stick, and it will turn your regular tv into a smart tv. You can watch Netflix, Youtube, Amazon Prime Free movies, and more! Very easy to set up, plug and play. This is a great alternative to the Roku Streaming Stick (which we have as well).
Echo Dots: Mom has both Echo Dot 3rd generation and Echo Dot 4th generation. Echo Dots are smart speakers and the 4th generation has a display clock. You can stream your favorite music stations and manage your Alexa devices. Both are available in two colors and both are best sellers.
Amazon Basics Charger Cables: In our opinion, Amazon Basics charger cables are the best bang for the buck especially on Amazon Prime Day you can’t go wrong! They come in various lengths (we like the 10ft), colors, and the double braided make it longer-lasting.
Technology
iPads: If you’re looking for iPads, Mom has an iPad Pro and Kaylin has iPad Air. We both love our iPads and use them as mini-computers. We both have stylus pens and Kaylin has a keyboard.
Adjustable Tablet Stand: this is one of our top pics! This tablet stand is very durable and can hold either a cell phone or something as heavy as an iPad Pro. The stand is adjustable for any viewing angle and comes in several colors. The whole family has one of their own. This was a game changer!

True & Co Women’s True Body Triangle Convertible Strap Bra: This bra comes in several different colors, wireless, removable pads, and is made with microfiber and so super soft! Exceptional bra for travel. It also goes on sale at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. True & Co also has the lace racerback style, which also comes in several colors.
Lululemon dupes: One of our favorite workout shorts is the CRZ Yoga shorts. They look just like Lululemon shorts but less than half the price! They come in several colors and 2.5 or 4 inch in length. Mom loves this style because the elastic waist is smooth so no skin sensitivity.
Scrubs: For all those who are in healthcare, these are the best-looking, most comfortable scrubs! They are Midrise Joggers with zipper closure and come in several colors. They are also super good for travel, great for wearing on the airplane. (The jacket is from Fabletics, see how to order here)
Necklaces: Kaylin has the 3-piece or 2-piece layering necklaces. She has been wearing either of these two styles in all our latest posts. The 3-piece has a daintier look and can be worn individually or all together. The 2-piece is bolder, both pieces can be worn together or individually. Kaylin has had them for some time and they have not tarnished and she has not had issues with skin irritation. Both are 14k gold plated and runs under $15.
Beauty Products
Mascara: A great Prime Day Deal was the essence mascara. The regular price is 4.99 and on Prime Day it was even less! It comes in regular form and waterproof. This is probably comparable to Volum’ Express the Falsies by Maybelline, but at half the cost. More about mascara here.
Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Powder: Mom has been using this for a few years. She adds it to her daily greek yogurt, but others add it to their morning coffee or any morning drink. It’s to help improve hair, skin, nails, joints, and ligaments.
Dyson Hair Dryer: This is a total splurge!! But if you’re going to spend the money for a Dyson Hair Dryer you might as well get it on sale. Each Model has different attachments and pricing. Mom has one and literally got it for free from Sephora because she was given gift cards. She has the Dyson Airwrap Styler Volume and Shape. It has 4 different attachments and is really a luxury item if you can spring for it.
Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Hot Air Brush: If you’re looking for a more affordable style brush Revlon One-Step is your option. The price point is excellent and it’s affordable at regular price.
