Workout Buddy
Hi Everyone! It’s a great day for a workout buddy! We are back with another Wellness Wednesday tip. We are Chic for Cheap, which means we like to share with you ways to stay healthy or fashionable on a BUDGET! An easy way to get your workout in, and enjoy it, is to do it with someone.
Why a workout buddy? The reason is to make working out fun but it can also help to keep you accountable. Knowing that someone else is depending on you will push you to do more and feel better doing it. When choosing a partner it helps if the partner has similar goals to you. For instance, if you are a runner find a running partner, if you prefer to walk find a walking partner. If you like to hike we have some pics of a few hikes in Hawaii. If you like do to workouts from your home we have a few workout apps that we really love!
The bottom line is that working out is just so much better with a buddy. When Kaylin was on vacation a little while ago she was so UNmotivated to workout! But when you’re not motivated to exercise if you find a friend, family member, puppy, or significant other…. you will find that you work out harder and longer than planned when it’s with someone else. After working out it will give you a sense of appreciation to whoever was by my side keeping you company and motivating you to do more.. (outfit: Nike-jacket and pants, hat- H&M)

Meet Koko our very own Yorkipoo! Koko is sporting a pink harness (similar here), pink collar (similar here), customized engraved jeweled dog tag (no longer available but here’s one similar). She has kept us motivated and enjoying our workouts!!
