Shop Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Hello Everyone! It’s that time again, Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! This is a huge sale that happens only once a year. What makes it different from other Nordstrom sales is that regular Fall items are on sale for a limited time, and then the price reverts to the original. We would like to mention a few of our tried and true items that we stock up on every year, sprinkled with a few new items we are trying for the first time. Everything we chose was under $100! (*one secret item)
Beauty
1. Aquis Head Wrap
The Aquis Head Wrap Towel claims to cut drying time by 50%, helps reduce frizz and breakage, and helps hair color stay vibrant. After several years of using the hair wrap what we do love about it is short or long hair the wrap is SECURE and does tend to squeeze the water out of your hair. It comes in several colors and for the sale, they have a two-pack for $39.00 valued at $60. Mom’s favorite is the Aquis Rapid Dry Waffle Hair Wrap Towel.
3. Slip Hair Ties
These hair ties are a repurchase and a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale regular, originally $65 on sale for $45 a savings of $20. Included in this set are two large hair ties and 6 skinny hair ties of various colors. What makes these worth the buy you ask? Rubberbands tend to get stuck in your hair and cause breakage, but Slip Hair ties are made from 100% silk. The slippery silk makes it easy to take on and off your hair and doesn’t leave the marks on your hair that normal rubber bands do. If this set is too much for you they come in a 3 pack for $20.
5. Lancome Mascara
One of Mom’s favorite mascaras is the Lancome Hypnose Drama (see her mascara routine here). This is a great time to stock up on this mascara. Included in the kit are 2 Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascaras, one Mascara Base, and one travel size eye makeup remover. All of these products are great! Original price (or value) $98 on sale for $61 a savings of $37.
6. Donna Karan New York Cashmere Mist Deodorant
This deodorant stick lasts forever and smells wonderful! One stick is normally $30 so this 3-pack is valued at $90 on sale for $69 a savings of $21. It’s a deodorant and antiperspirant but worth the price just for the smell alone. The whole family has been purchasing this for several years. 2. T3 Lucea 1-inch Styling Iron
Purchased this as a gift and one for us! Originally priced at $150 on sale for $99 for a savings of $51. This is rated 4.5 stars and Mom has heard a lot of good things. Very sleek looking and comes in a couple of colors. Mom bought a pink and a white, if you have been thinking about buying a T3 flatiron now is the time!
4. T3 SinglePass 1.25-Inch Ceramic Curling Iron
Purchased this as a gift as well. Priced the same as the flatiron and comes in white and pink. This did not have a rating but the 1.25 interchangeable clip was rated 4.5.
Intimates
7 & 8. True & Co
True & Co is a very popular bralette. Mom has both True Body Triangle Convertible Strap Bralette, and True Body Triangle Lace Racerback Bralette. The material is thin, soft, super comfortable, and comes in several colors. There’s a variety of styles on sale but if it is out of stock you can always purchase on Amazon.
9. Natori Bliss Cotton Girl Briefs
Mom started buying these briefs a few years ago at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Every year she buys a few more to stock up. The more you buy the better the price so she buys 3 at a time. The original price is $20 on sale for $14.90 and if you buy 3 the price goes down to $13.00. They fit great, cotton panties that don’t ride up and thin so it wears nicely under pants. These run out quickly so keep them on your wishlist.
New Intimates Buys for This Year
10. Honeydew Intimates All American Shortie Pajamas
This two-piece combo is one of the softest sleepwear! Its soft jersey material comes in two colors and has a smooth waistband (which is great for sensitive skin). It is regularly priced at $38 and on sale for $24.90 a savings of $13. These sell out super fast, so if you can get your hands on a pair scoop it up right away. Mom was able to get the blue and grey striped pair and hoping to snag the yellow ditsy floral as well.
New Sports Bras for This Year
11. Nike Indy Longline Sports Bra
This is a great sports bra with convertible straps, feels very smooth, almost like a bathing suit with a wide bottom band. Very comfortable, not too tight, and no elastic pinching. Original price $40 and on sale for $29 a savings of $11.
12. Natori Limitless Sports Bralette
Another convertible strap sports bra (bralette) comes in 3 colors. Very thin, but comfortable for home wear. Great for working from home wear. The lower band is not as wide as the Nike but very smooth so no pinching. Originally priced at $38 but on sale for $24.90 a savings of $13.10.
13. Intimately FP the Essential Triangle Bra
Free People’s triangle bra is very thin and has no support. The straps are thin which would be great to wear with spaghetti strap tops. It comes in 3 different colors and the fabric is very similar to the Nike, and Natori all are super comfortable. Originally priced at $30 and on sale for $24.90 a savings of $13
Women’s Clothes
14. Caslon Drape Collar Knit Blazer
This blazer is one of Mom’s favorites! It feels like a cardigan but looks classy like a blazer. It comes in different colors, Mom has the camo and olive print from a previous Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. You can’t go wrong with this blazer if you are looking for polished work clothes. It is originally priced at $69 and on sale for $39.90 it’s a great buy and savings of $29!
15. Donna Fab Ab Exposed Button Ripped Ankle Skinny Jeans (Shop the look)
Chic for Cheap is what we are about, and we always pick up a pair of jeans from “Kut from the Kloth”. This is a great brand, good quality, and excellent price point. This one was originally priced at $94 on sale for $62.90 a savings of $31. For those of you who are rectangle-shaped (no waist and straight through the hips) these are a perfect fit! The fabric is stretchy so they are super comfortable and the length is perfect for shorter people.
16. Adidas Original 6-Pack Trefoil Logo No-Show Socks
This is a basic no-show sock, but Mom loves them. They don’t slide down at your heel and come in several different color combinations. Mom purchased the white pack this year. Sold out at the time of this post but purchased at $11.90. Still available originally $20 but on sale for $13.90 a savings of $6
New Clothing Buys for This Year
17. Faux Leather Leggings
Year after year Mom has been wanting the Faux Leather Leggings from Spanx. Everyone raves about it and she finally bought it this year!! The wait was worth it! It does run small so order up a size. The waistband is comfortable but tummy tucking. The faux leather looks shinny but rich and they are super comfortable! Originally priced at $98 they are on sale for $64.90 a savings of $33.
New Shoe Buys for This Year
20. Cedar Chain Bootie
Now is the time to stock up on your shoes! Sam Edelman and Vince Camuto are two of Mom’s favorite brands, and there are several styles on sale. You can choose from booties, combat boots, knee high boots, sneakers, and a few sandals. Mom chose a Steve Madden bootie this year because she wanted a black bootie with a bold statement. Steve Madden has a bootie with a heavy gold chain, the inner sole is comfortable and the toe is very pointed. The heel is 3 1/2″, which is a great height for easy walking. Originally priced at $149.95 on sale for $99.90 a savings of $50 great price for a bootie with a little bling!
22. Balan Slingback Pump
Looking for a nice basic black patent leather sandal? This Calvin Klein will fit the bill. The heel is flat and thin, and at 3″ the perfect height with a square toe. It is a very classic look with a slight twist on the heel that should be a staple for work. Originally priced at $90 on sale for $59.90 for a savings of $30. Mom chose black but it comes in 4 different colors.

Simplehuman 8-Inch Sensor Mirror
Anyone who needs 5x magnification and lights to get ready in the morning? Mom purchased this mirror a couple of years ago and it’s little above our $100 mark, but it was a buy totally worth mentioning! Originally priced at $200 on sale it is $140 a savings of $60. The mirror is cordless and rechargeable and has a sensor that lights up when your face is within range. It has a sleek design and you can adjust the mirror to an angle that is comfortable for you to put your make-up on.
Riki Loves Riki Riki Skinny 10x Lighted Mirror
This is a new purchase for 2021. The lights are LED and very bright. It comes in two colors rose gold and white (mom chose rose gold). Included is a circular mirror that magnetically attaches to the center of the mirror, this is the 10x magnification mirror. There’s also a cell phone attachment, but you can only use one attachment at a time. There’s a Bluetooth function for you to take selfies. It’s a great mirror with great lighting, but more of a fun toy than for everyday use. This is another great-priced deal, originally priced at $200 and on sale for $130 a $70 savings.
Miscellaneous Items
19. CozyChic Leopard Dog Sweater
Barefoot dreams has a sweater for you dog! It comes in solid or leopard print and sold out last year before we could get our hands on it, but….. this year we snagged one!!!! Our beloved Koko will be styling with her barefoot dream sweater this fall. We chose chestnut/cream since she is light colored we wanted to compliment her fur. Originally priced at $45 on sale for $29.90 a savings of $15. They don’t seem to carry it throughout the year so if you’re thinking about it, just grab one while they have it in stock!!!
21. Nordstrom Set of 4 Textured Marble Coasters
This was a new try this year and it’s a winner! They are sold out of the white at the time of writing this post but they still have the ebony color in stock. Very well made, heavy with felt circle backing and looks very modern/classy. Originally priced at $29 on sale for $18.90 a savings of $10.
18. Longchamp Large Le Pilage Canvas Backpack
Mom has been looking for the perfect traveling backpack and she finally found it! This Longchamp backpack folds up for easy packing and unfolds to a large size backpack. You can fit a shoe box plus other items and it has a zipper closure at the top. The straps are adjustable, it’s very lightweight, and came in black and navy blue. At the time of writing this post they were sold out of the large, hopefully they will restock because this was an excellent choice! Price point was $92.90
